MICHAEL GOMEZ, PRESIDENT
Michael Gomez serves as President of MGI headquartered in Chicago, IL. He is responsible for operations, management of candidate research, and client interface. Mike also supports Director and above executives with outplacement services such as career coaching, marketing, resume redesign and interviewing skills.

Prior to forming MGI, Mike worked for DHR International as Executive Vice President and member of their executive Advisory Board. Mike was awarded as a top new sales performer in the country and was asked to serve as lead trainer of all new EVP’s hired within North America. Prior to joining DHR International, Mike led the design and implementation of McDonald’s Management Services Call Center. He also served as a multi Department Head in San Diego, California where he provided the leadership for all staffing, training, quality management, human resources and administration for a billion dollar business unit.
The balance of Mike’s professional experience comes from working for other high profile organizations such as The Walt Disney Company, where he headed up staffing for all North American retail operations and PepsiCo where he served as Division Manager of Staffing and Area Manager of Human Resources. In addition, Mike worked for AT&T in Call Center operations and corporate staffing. Mike received his undergraduate degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan and has performed graduate studies at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
VALERIE WRIGHT, DIRECTOR OF RECRUITING & RESEARCH
Valerie M. Wright heads the research for MGI International as Director of Recruiting and Research based in Chicago, IL. She is responsible for managing all research activity in the United States as well as Canada and Europe.
Prior to joining MGI, Ms. Wright worked in innovative ad agencies and graphic arts companies in Chicago for more than 10 years. As Director of Business Development, she successfully recruited and hired specialized teams for client accounts, including Nestles, Kraft Foods International, Pfizer and McDonald's Corporation. Prior to returning to Chicago, Ms. Wright resided in France working for Parke-Davis Laboratories a subsidiary of Pfizer Pharmaceutical Group. She was rewarded for her commitment to diversity in growing her team within the advertising and marketing departments. As an American, her fluency in French was indispensable in managing culturally diverse groups of Europeans.
Ms. Wright has been awarded a Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) designation, the most widely recognized professional standard in e-recruitment today from AIRS, North America's largest recruitment training company. Her undergraduate studies were performed in Fine Arts at Chicago's School of the Art Institute, and in International Business at the Universite de Nice Sophia Antipolis in Nice, France.
